ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Computer Science was established in the year 2011 with B.Sc Computer Science. In the academic year 2019-2020, M.Sc Computer Science was introduced. Our Department is well-equipped with internet facilities with 26 Mbps capacity. The lab is installed with a variety of software’s like, Net, Netbeans, J2EE and Python. The department focuses in developing various computer related skills for the students by offering training programs, add-on and skill development courses. The department also offers training and computer literacy program to all the first year UG students.

The Vision of our Department is to empower the rural and socio-economically backward students to attain academic excellence in information technology and to develop competent, socially responsible and face challenges to the competitive world.

To provide them to be fit in the competitive IT world.

To provide an opportunity to serve the society through curricular and co-curricular activities, and enabling them to develop personality and leadership skills.

To offer them the best education and knowledge this transforms them into social, academic innovators and to shape them for their better future.
